Lots going on since my last post in this series. The timing has worked out well though and next post in the series was going to be on spring around Ontario Place. Spring migration has begun so I thought I would share some of what I was able to capture during the first spring that I spent quite a bit of time along this section of waterfront trail from Trillium Park over to the West Island of Ontario Place and along the channel leading west along Lakeshore Drive.
All of these photos were taken from March 20th, 2018 to the end of April that year, so early spring. I hope they show the importance of the area of the waterfront during migration.

This is a just small sample of the variety of wildlife in this area of our waterfront and speaks to the importance of ensuring that any redevelopment of this area will protect the species who use the area and that public will have access to this area in years to come.
